With the coming of fall means it’s time for K&W’s Free Fall Workshops.
Workshops start at 10am. Come on in, grab a cup of free coffee and lets talk about gardening!
 
Sat. September 11: A Year In Review
Kyle Aurit, K&W’s tree & shrub expert and Dee Speaker, perennials and annuals guru will take a look back at the season to see what problems gardeners faced. We’ll look at ways to help control the issues of 2010 to hopefully have you ready for the 2011 growing season.
 
Sat. September 18 & Sun 19: Fall Harvest Event Free Family Fun!
Our annual Harvest Weekend! Hay bale maze for the kids, pumpkins, Indian corn & more. One hour workshop, at 10am Sat, on Home Canning Your Harvest. Elegant Farmer pies return for a limited engagement and sales everywhere!
 
Sat. September 25: Fall Bulb Planting
Matt McGuire, from K. van Bourgondien & Sons, will show you how easy a spring
garden of bulbs can be. You’ve got to plant now, so come, learn and save!

A fresh look for the Fall– Easy and Affordable! Ruth Venable, K&W’s floral designer, will show you how. You can even stay for a Make n Take session immediately after.
 
Sat. October 9: Fall and Winter Pruning
When can I prune my _____? We get this question a lot! Kyle will give you the does and don'ts when it comes to fall/winter pruning.
 
Sat. October 16: Getting Your Roses Ready For Winter
You can grow great roses in Wisconsin. Some roses like to have a little extra
protection to get through a cold WI winter. We will give you great tips on winterizing your roses.
